Public outcry over UK Home Office

Activists are expressing deep concern over the UK government's treatment of immigrant communities, who they say are often deported unlawfully, without a fair hearing and under the most inhumane of circumstances.

The UK home office is under the spotlight once more after Home Secretary Priti Patel oversaw an immigration raid under the guise of observing the implementation of the law, but which nonetheless outraged many.

In Scotland despite hundreds turning out to prevent a similar immigration bust, Priti Patel reiterated that she believed British people supported and voted for such scenes.

The Windrush scandal also continues as part of the hostile environment to affect many people.

Many think that modern Britain is simply a far cry from the welcoming image which is often presented to the world.

The hostile environment created by the UK government continues to have a devastating impact on communities with legal experts concerned about many cases of unlawful detainment and deportations.
