Here is the largest mall of Iran which is located west of Tehran. On the top floor of the mall a center has recently been opened to vaccinate people against COVID-19.

With 240 injection booths, over 20,000 people can get the jab every day at this center.

All the expenses to launch this center are paid by a charity organization.

At the moment people who are over 75 are being inoculated and the center will host younger people when the health ministry announces based on age group plans.

People who enter the mall register on the ground floor and then they go to the top floor and are vaccinated in about five minutes.

The complex has separate furnished waiting areas for reception. Those who get the jab must wait in these areas for twenty minutes after the vaccination. Physicians and the emergency team are on call to take care of those who may feel bad.

Over 1.4 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Iran on Sunday night. Officials say the country will import 7 to 10 million doses of the vaccine by the end of June.
