NBA: Utah Jazz 118-88 Brooklyn Nets

Over the NBA, the Western Conference leaders the Utah Jazz have dismantled the Brooklyn Nets 118 to 88 at home.

The hosts dominated the match in the opener and smashed the Nets 38-17, before taking the next quarter with 4-point margin which led to their 63-38 advantage at the intermission. The Jazz remained consistent after the break and widened the gap to 30 points by the end of the game to seal their place at top of the Western Conference with 32 victory.

The Jazz will next entertain the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday whereas the Nets will travel to Detroit to line up against the Pistons on the same day.

Meanwhile in a nail-biting match at the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks overcame the visiting Boston Celtics 121-119.

The Bucks were the better side of the match at the end of the 3rd quarter after finishing it 100-86. However, the Celtics showed some resilience in the final quarter, but they could only manage to cut the gap to 2 points after routing the Bucks 33-21.

With the victory, the Bucks extended their winning run to 8 matches and leapfrogged to 2nd in the standings.
