Yemen's Foreign Ministry slams UN failure to end Saudi aggression

Amid the UN's failure to end the years-long Saudi war on Yemen, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sana'a held a press conference to blast the UN-brokered peace negotiations aimed at reaching a political solution to the crisis as they have produced no tangible results.

Officials say the UN is facing blackmail from Saudi Arabia as it receives its funding from the kingdom. Riyadh has pushed the world body to stop committing to its promise of lifting the blockade on Yemen. The kingdom is also pressuring the UN to keep providing political cover-up for Saudi Arabia for its illegal actions, including the continued seizure of oil vessels.
