Afghans mark Eid al-Maba'th along with nearly two billion Muslims worldwide

Although there are several other motives behind marking religious events, but war-weary Afghans take Eid-al-Mab'ath as an opportunity for all followers of Prophet Mohammad to focus on teachings of this great man, set aside their differences and make a united and strong nation.

Many here also believe marking Eid-al-Mab'ath paves the way not only for Muslims but also for non-Muslim nations to study the real personality and behavior of the prophet for nearly two billion Muslims across the world.

In Islam, Prophet Mohammad is also known as the prophet of kindness. That’s why many people in Afghanistan believe that following the path of Prophet Mohammad will undoubtedly help them to win the hearts and minds of others.

Based on Islamic beliefs, Eid-al-Mab'ath is the day when God appointed Muhammad ibn Abdullah as the last prophet to mankind .Since then the event is marked by Muslims worldwide to spread awareness among other nations.
