Bayern Munich have collected their 6th cup in nine months, after beating Mexican side, Tigres, 1-nil, in the final showdown in Qatar.

Benjamin Pavard fired a rebound into the middle of the goal around the hour mark, after the ball broke to him in the box, but the goal was initially ruled out for a Robert Lewandowski offside. However, it was finally given after a VAR review.

Bayern have now won six trophies in only nine months, after having triumphed in the UEFA Champions League, the BundesLiga, the German Cup, the German Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and now The Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, Tigres were the first team from North or Central America, to reach the final, but could not end the dominance of European and South American teams in the tournament.
