India farmers protests

India has been the scene of mass anti-government protests since September. This after the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced a reform bill, which was later turned into law, seeking to deregulate India’s agriculture sector by setting a Minimum Support Price known as M-S-P and allowing farmers to sell their crops to private buyers.
