US dumping plastics in Africa
The American Chemistry Council recently lobbied the US government to use an upcoming US-Kenya free trade agreement to expand the plastics industry's footprint across Africa.

The African Union treaty establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was signed by African Union Heads of State on 21 March 2018 in Kigali, Rwanda.The first commercial deal of this African Free Trade area will be taking off on January 1, 2021.
