July 1: Annexation showdown

Palestinians, some clad in masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, gather for a protest against Israeli plans to annex parts of the occupied West Bank, in the West Bank city of Nablus on June 3, 2020.

It's already set. After all it's been in the making since 1967. Israel has promised that by July 1 it will begin to annex large swaths of occupied Palestinian lands. According to the Israeli occupation, it has received the green light from its ally the US to go ahead and do so, while giving to disregard of warnings and condemnations by the international community. Is this the endgame for the Palestinians, or is it the beginning of the decline of Israel as we know it?
