Armless Peruvian girl creates artwork with her feet

Twelve-year-old disabled artist Angie Mishel Arevalo Culqui has learned how to paint beautiful artwork with her feet, as footage filmed in Peru's northernmost department of Loreto on Thursday shows.

Angie doesn't have arms, but despite that, she is not only helping with all sorts of tasks around the house, but has also developed her passion for the arts.

"I like to paint and I want to be a great artist," she said.

"Since she was three years old I taught her how to paint and how to hold her pencil, I taught her how to eat and I told her how to write, and she took her pencil and wrote, and little by little she grasped her colors so that she could paint and draw," explained Angie's mother, Cecilia Culqui.

Due to insufficient financial resources, Angie also uses her hobby to help her family. "She paints her paintings and she sells them, because she also helps me in some things that I need to buy," Angie's mother shared.
