Tensions are rising once again between Turkey and Syria. Earlier this week, several Turkish soldiers were killed in Idlib province after they came under heavy artillery fire by Syrian forces.
Nine other soldiers were also injured in the assault. Following the incident, Turkey launched airstrikes against Syrian troops advancing in the last terrorist bastion in Idlib.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed the raids were in response to attacks on Turkish forces. Erdogan said Turkey's F-16 warplanes were involved in the attack against 40 points in Idlib, claiming that 30 to 35 Syrians were "neutralized" in the aggression.
