Libya conflict

Meeting after meeting have been held on the crisis in Libya but none of them have managed to bring an end to hostilities and violence besetting the country.

Libya has faced chaos and conflict over power in the past 9 years. Renegade general Khalifa Haftar has been fighting the UN-backed government in Tripoli benefitting from the support of a number of Arab countries, France and Russia.
