Thousands more infected by Corona virus

Many countries have banned flights to and from China and the US is refusing people who have traveled to china in the last two weeks entry as well.

Hong Kong will shut 10 of 13 crossings to the mainland along with ferry and train crossings. Meanwhile inside China a brand-new hospital has been erected in just 9 days which was ready to take patients Monday.

Social media platforms are trying to stop misinformation which has caused a certain amount of panic. Officials everywhere are calling for calm. The UK for one says it is well equipped and experienced in controlling outbreaks like this.

So how worried should people be and what can they do to protect themselves? The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, a worldwide body, hopes to develop a vaccine within eight months.
