Iran's defense power has become strong enough to deter enemies as big as the US.
Focusing on Air Defence, Iran performed yet another military maneuvre, on 21st and 22nd November. The two-day exercise was called 'Guardians of Velayat Sky-98', and was held in the central province of Semnan an area of 416,000 square kilometers, simulating the Strait of Hormuz and general Persian Gulf area.
Iran is the main protector of the Strait of Hormuz, however, it has several times asked the neighboring countries to join hands to preserve security instead of resorting to foreign powers which favor if the region is unstable.
In the drill 'Guardians of Velayat Sky-98', Iran's most recent equipment was uncovered, such as the missile system Khordad the 15th, with a targeting range of 150 kilometers and the ability to track aerial vehicles and drones at 120 kilometers distance.
