Venezuelan currency suffers extreme depreciation

Venezuela's national currency has suffered an extreme depreciation that tends to continue on a daily basis. 

Known as the bolivar, the country's currency has depreciated over 50% in the last 30 days to be placed at 25,000 bolivars per dollar on the street last Friday.
