Ferrari's Charles Leclerc in action during the race

Over to Motorsports and Formula 1, Ferrari's Charl Leclerc has claimed his 2nd career Pole Position, while breaking the Lap Record at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

The 21-year-old, who is yet to win a Grand Prix, clocked 1 minute 3.003 seconds in the final lap of a dramatic session. Leclerc outpaced 5-time Champion Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes by 2 tenths of a second.

The Brit finished 2nd, but was demoted to 5th for impeding Kimi Raikkonen. Max Verstappen was promoted to 2nd for Red Bull ahead of Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas in 3rd. Hamilton stands atop the drivers standings, 36 points clear of Bottash after winning the last 4 races.
