NHL: Dallas Stars defeats Nashville Predators 5-3

Over to the National Hockey League, where the Dallas Stars have defeated the Nashville Predators 5-3, to grab a 3-2 lead in first round playoff series; a win away from reaching the 2nd round.

Following a 1-all draw in the opening frame, the visiting Stars seized control in the 2nd to score 2 goals through Alexander Radulov.
Nashville tried to get back in the game when Ryan Johansen pulled one back in, but Tyler Seguin restored the 2-goal advantage for the stars.


In the 3rd period, Jason Dickinson practically killed off the game in favor of the Stars, before Kyle Turris scored a consolation for the hosts.
Dallas will host Game 6 on Monday.
