French police protest against suicides in their ranks

Police officers gather in Marseille to express their dismay a day after two new suicides among their ranks took the toll to 28 since the beginning of the year.

All police unions have called for rallies of this type throughout France. In Paris, Interior Minister Christophe Castaner affirms he has hear the "collective call" and specifies that the "suicide prevention alert unit" for the national police will be set up on 29 April.
