Islamophobia: who's to blame?

One of the main driving forces behind the rise of Islamaphobia has been blamed on the media.

When a Takfiri extremist commits an act of terror, many western media outlets conduct interviews with individuals who share the same Takfiri ideology. These individuals are portrayed as representative of Muslims around the world. This is despite the fact that Takfirism has nothing to do with Islam. One study has also revealed how Australias FIVE biggest newspapers have been reporting about Islam and the role this plays in the rise of Islamaphobia.
