Spanish giants Real Madrid have claimed their 4th FIFA Club World Cup after thrashing their hosts Al-Ain 4-1 in Abu Dhabi.
Ballon d'Or winner Luka Modric curled home the opening goal from the edge of the area 14 minutes into the match. Marcos Llorente doubled the lead for Los Blancos with a stunning 25-yard half volley in the 60th minute.
With 11 minutes remaining, Real captain Serkhio Ramos headed in the 3rd from a Modric Corner. Then Tsukasa Shiotani scored a consolation goal for the Emirati side with 4 minutes remaining, before Yahya Mader netted an own goal in stoppage time to complete Madrid's 3rd consecutive year championship at this tournament.
