Trump has excelled in debauchery, idiocy and hate mongering: Analyst

US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump has surpassed other controversial world leaders who have embarrassed their own countries, excelling in “debauchery, idiocy, hate mongering, and true ugliness,” an American political activist says.

Myles Hoenig, who ran for the US Congress in 2016 as a Green Party candidate, compared Trump to politicians involved in ethical and political controversies, including former US President George W. Bush, former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and former Toronto mayor Rob Ford.

“Lots of countries have had embarrassing leaders. Berlusconi of Italy, George W. Bush of the US, Duterte of the Philippines, Rob Ford of Toronto, Boris Johnson of Great Britain are the most recent,” Hoenig said Friday in an interview with Press TV.

“But Trump has excelled in everything from debauchery, idiocy, hate mongering, and true ugliness,” he added.

Hoenig said Trump’s latest controversial comments about the heritage of female Senator Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat from Massachusetts, highlight his racist and misogynistic feelings.

“It’s almost hard to imagine that in one moment of utterance Trump can show his racism and misogyny as well as make fun of rape culture but he did it with his speech regarding Senator Warren,” he noted.

During a debate on Thursday, Trump said he would offer Warren $1 million to take a test to prove her Native American heritage.

“We will take that little kit, we have to do it gently because we’re in the "Me Too" generation, we have to be very gentle,” Trump said, mocking the movement that seeks to expose sexual misconduct in media, entertainment and politics in the United States and other Western countries.
