Tensions simmering in northern Iraq over elections

In Iraq, Sa'eroun Alliance led by cleric Sayed Muqtada Sadr’s Sa’eroun and Fateh Alliance led by the former Popular Mobilization Units commander Hadi Ameri’s are emerging as two front winners in the parliamentary elections. This as tensions are still simmering in Iraq’s northern oil-rich governorate of Kirkuk with Turkmen and Arabs accusing Kurdish parties of manipulating the results.
