Israel's attempt on al-Quds annexation untenable: Analyst

Considering the fact of "realpolitik" and "realistic international relations," Israel must accept that annexation of the whole Jerusalem al-Quds is "untenable" and will not be in its favor, says Srdja Trifkovic.

The writer told Press TV on Tuesday that if Israel insisted on "rejecting the Palestinian demand for East Jerusalem as its capital," things will not work out in Tel Aviv's favor both demographically and psychologically.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the United States is overstepping its bounds in recognizing Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s "capital."
