Iran’s Javanmardidodmani snatches 2nd gold medal in 2017 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup

Iranian Paralympic shooter Sareh Javanmardidodmani has received a second gold medal at the 2017 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Croatia.

On Tuesday, the 32-year-old Paralympic champion participated in the women’s P4 50-meter pistol SH1 competitions at Streljana Pampas Osijek in the eastern Croatian city of Osijek.

She racked up 379 points to claim the top position and finish as champion.

Serbian sports shooter Zivko Papaz accumulated 219.7 points to clinch the silver medal.

Rastko Jokic, another contestant from Serbia, earned the bronze with 199.7 points.

In the P4 mixed 50-meter pistol SH1 contests, the Iranian team, comprised of Javanmardidodmani, Samira Eram and Mahdi Zamani Shourabi, landed in the top spot and was awarded the gold medal.

The Serbian team got the silver, and the Polish squad scooped the bronze medal.

The World Shooting Para Sport World Cup kicked off on September 22, and concluded on September 26, 2017.

More than 100 athletes from around 20 countries competed at the tournament.
