EU, Britain once again clash over terms of Brexit deal

EU, Britain once again clash over terms of Brexit deal

Talks between the European Union and Britain over the country’s planned withdrawal from the bloc appear to be making very little progress, if any. Negotiators from both sides this past week engaged in a brief war of words over certain monetary aspects pertaining to what is today called the Brexit plan. EU negotiator Michel Barnier adopted an angry tone against Britain saying it needs to be educated about the costs of leaving the European Union.

Myanmar ‘using scorched earth tactic against Rohingya’

Anger is boiling over in different parts of the world at the Myanmar crackdown on the country’s Muslim minority known as Rohingya. Thousands and thousands of Rohingya have fled Myanmar to Bangladesh in recent weeks to escape the deadly crackdown. The army is reportedly using a scorched earth tactic to intimidate the Muslim minority into leaving . New satellite imagery shows several hundred buildings have been burned in the Rakhine State.
