Some 500 refugees die in Mediterranean in 2 months

Almost 17,000 people have arrived in Europe so far this year and about 5,000 have died crossing the Mediterranean Sea to the continent. These are the latest estimations by the International Organization for Migration. Some believe the refugee death toll is much higher than that.
