Barcelona advance to Spanish Copa del Rey final

Barcelona have cruised to Copa del Ray final with a aggregate victory over Atletico Madrid.

On Tuesday night at the Nou Camp, Barca have started the match better than Atletico with Luis Suarez altering the score sheet in the 43rd minute.

But the rest of the action continued in the second half with Frenchman Antoine Griezmann having a goal wrongly disallowed for offside and Lionel Messi also hitting the bar with a brilliant free-kick.

Even though Atletico's Kevin Gameiro missed a penalty he made amends by equalizing late in the 83rd minute. Meanwhile, Luis Suarez was sent off for receiving two yellow cards and will miss the final match.

With this victory Barcelona reach the Copa del Ray final for the fourth consecutive season. Barca will meet either Alaves or Celta Vigo in the final, with those sides playing the second leg of their semi-final tie on Wednesday.
