Greece's outspoken former finance minister Yanis Varoufakis who locked horns with the European establishment appears to be working on a surprise initiative to launch a new pan-European movement.  The bad boy of European politics – as he is generally described – wants to use the movement he has planned – the DiEM25 – to bring greater democracy back to EU decision making.

Saudi Spin Campaign
Saudi Arabia is facing new pressures over a recent revelation that it has launched a campaign to twist the media coverage on the controversies surrounding the kingdom. Reports say the royals in Riyadh are hiring American public relations experts and lobbyists to help spin reporters and influence policymakers on a wide range issues relating to Saudi Arabia.

US Regime Change Policy
The whistle-blower website WikiLeaks has released yet another email from former secretary of state Hillary Clinton. It has revealed that Clinton gives the go-ahead to a Google subsidiary to develop an application for the purpose of mapping out defections in the Syrian military back in 2011.
