US, S Korea launch military exercises amid protests

The joint US, South Korea military exercises will be the largest ever, with 300,000 South Korean soldiers and 15,000 US troops scheduled to participate, double the number of last year. B2 bombers, nuclear powered submarines and an aircraft carrier will also take part in the drills, scheduled to last through April 30.
