The Turkish government is under mounting pressure over alleged crimes committed by its troops against Kurdish civilians during security operations in the south. This, as Ankara’s prolonged curfews have already been taking a toll on civilians. But as our correspondent in Turkey Verenia Keet reports, the government remains defiant to all the criticism.
