Palestinian fishermen under Israeli gunfire in Gaza

Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip continue to suffer from frequent Israeli naval attacks on their fishing skiffs and trawlers. The Israeli navy has carried out around two hundred attacks on Gazan fishermen since the end of the recent Israeli war on Gaza last summer. Many Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are traditionally dependent on fishing as their only source of income.
