Ken O’Keefe: Washington violates sovereignty of other nations by bloody drone strikes
Press TV has conducted an interview with Ken O’Keefe, a London-based former US Marine, to get his take on an investigation into deadly US drone strikes.
O’Keefe says that Washington has left a bloody trail behind in countries like Iraq and should not be allowed to violate the sovereignty of other nations. The United States certainly cannot prove that it is protecting innocent lives and it does not have the integrity to make such claims, he argues.
The analyst also states that if international law were equally applied, we would have seen American and British politicians imprisoned for committing crimes against humanity. But this is not the case, he adds, because the world does not work in that order anymore.
O’Keefe concludes by saying that even if those who are being targeted by these attacks were all convicted in a court of law, that still would not allow Washington to cross the borders of their countries and kill them.
