Press TV has conducted an interview with Cynthia Rush, a Latin America expert, in Washington, to get her take on US insincerity in its intention to re-establish ties with Cuba.

Rush warns that there is a good deal of “skepticism about the sincerity” of the so-called change in US policy on Cuba, saying Washington’s history of intervention throughout the world make it hard to believe such a shift in relations with Latin American states.

Referring to US policy in Yemen, the Middle East and Ukraine, she argues a real change in US strategy towards Latin America would come true if Washington changed its attitude on global economy.
