In his two-day visit, Rami Alhamdallah is expected to discuss problems gripping the life in the impoverished coastal enclave. The main issues Alhamdalla is planning to deal with are the public employees, closed borders & most importantly the reconstruction of Gaza.

The representatives of political factions attended the reception of the Prime Minister. However, Hamas movement has perceived Alhamdalla’s words as unproductive & lacking any solutions.

Palestinians are optimistic that Alhamdalla’s visit will finally end their sufferings, especially with the hundreds of thousands displaced awaiting the reconstruction. Moreover, people also are expecting that the trip will help proceed with the unity agreement between Hamas and Fatah.

On his second visit since he was appointed, Prime Minister of National Unity Government Rami Alhamdallah arrived to Gaza to push forward reconstruction of the war-torn enclave and solve the months-long closure of the borders.
