3 Egyptians police officers killed during raid against militants in Minya
Three Egyptian policemen have been shot dead when they came under fire near the southern city of Minya.
Egyptian security officials said two other officers were also injured. The attack took place as the policemen were conducting a raid against a group of militants. Earlier last month, two policemen were killed in another militant attack in the city, which saw unrest last year when the Coptic Christian community came under attack several times. Egypt has been the scene of clashes between security forces and militants since the army ousted president Mohamed Morsi in 2013.
