Iran’s Daneshvar collects bronze at 2018 Asian Track Cycling Championships

Iranian cyclist Mohammad Daneshvar Khorram has pocketed a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Track Cycling Championships in Malaysia.

On Sunday, the 24-year-old sportsman finished the 1-kilometer time trial contest at the Velodrom Nasional Malaysia of the western Malaysian town of Nilai in 1:01:87, and landed in the third spot of the chart.

Cyclists from Japan and Chinese Taipei finished in the first and second places respectively, and won the gold and silver medals.

Earlier, Iranian cyclist Arvin Moazzami Goudarzi had put on acceptable performances in the scratch race, and finished as the vice champion.

The 2018 Asian Track Cycling Championships kicked off on February 16, and will finish on February 20.
