Pishgaman cycling team clinches 2017 Tour of Xingtai title
Iranian Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Continental cycling team Pishgaman has proven its physical and technical superiority at the 2017 Tour of Xingtai in China, and managed to claim the title of the international sports event.
On Sunday, professional road bicycle racers for the Yazd-based outfit topped team general classification. They fulfilled the onerous task with the total time of 28:00:06, the Cycling Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran website reported.
They were followed by opponents from American professional cycling team Jelly Belly p/b Maxxis, who came second and were 1.55 minutes behind.
7 Eleven Roadbike Philippines cyclists claimed the third place, and only five minutes and 46 seconds separated them from their Pishgaman counterparts.
The 2017 Tour of Xingtai was held in three stages. The international tournament kicked off in China on August 25, and finished on August 27.
