Iranian army retaliation

The Iranian Army has launched fresh drone strikes on US military bases in the region, in retaliation for Washington’s military aggression against the Islamic Republic. The Army says it targeted two key US military sites in Kuwait with explosive drones during the 17th phase of Operation Thunder. According to the army, the attacks hit a munitions depot in Camp al-Udairi as well as a shed used for military gear and personnel in the major air transport hub of Ali al-Salem. In its short statement, the army vowed to stand firm to defend Iran and its identity against enemies. The army had earlier struck a Patriot radar system and an air surveillance radar in Ali al-Salem air base. The retaliatory strikes come as the US Central Command says it has carried out attacks on Iran for the eighth consecutive night.

US drone shut down

A senior Iranian military commander has warned that the country’s armed forces will give a firm and devastating response to any bullying and savagery by the Great Satan and the criminal enemy. Major General Ali Abdollahi, the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, made the comment in a message. He said the response to any new aggression by the enemy will be stronger than the second and third imposed wars. The general added that after suffering drastic defeats in the military aggression, enemies are now trying to sow discord between people and officials. Abdollahi said defeating the Great Satan and criminal US hinges on internal unity in the country, and it is necessary to confront this evil plot to disappoint enemies. He stressed that Iran's defensive power guarantees security of the entire nation while enabling officials to work toward realizing the people’s welfare and happiness.

Russia-Ukraine war

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged fresh fire, as the war between the two neighbors shows no signs of abating. According to Ukrainian officials, at least one person was killed and several others injured after Russian missiles hit the capital, Kiev, and a surrounding region. Ukraine says a dormitory, a residential block and several non-residential buildings and warehouses were struck. The attack came hours after Ukrainian drones hit Russian warehouses in the Moscow and Tambov regions, killing at least eight people. Meanwhile, hundreds of Ukrainians have once again taken to the streets across the country to protest against President Zelensky's recent decision to remove Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
