Palestinians face a bitter wheat harvest as Israel’s expansions shrink farmland

For Palestinians, the wheat harvest is more than an agricultural season.

It is a symbol of heritage and a deep connection to the land. Yet again this year, as for the past two years, Gaza’s farmers are harvesting under extraordinary hardship. War, widespread land destruction, and severe shortages of farming resources threaten both their livelihoods and Gaza’s food security.
