Iran's armed forces: Enemy forced to accept new Iranian rules

Iran's armed forces say the enemy has been forced to accept new rules imposed by Tehran on the battlefield, particularly regarding the smart management and control of the Strait of Hormuz, as the country marked the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini and the 1963 uprising against the Shah.

In a statement carried by Iranian news agencies on Wednesday, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said the Iranian nation and armed forces have imposed new realities on the battlefield that Washington and its allies must now accept.

"The enemy is forced to accept the new rules that the Iranian nation and armed forces have imposed on the battlefield, especially in the realm of smart management and control of the Strait of Hormuz," the IRGC said.

The statement came as Iran faces continued US military intransigence in the Persian Gulf, including late Tuesday American strikes on an Iranian oil tanker and a telecommunications tower on Qeshm Island, as well as an ongoing US naval blockade on Iranian ports.

The Armed Forces General Staff and the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a joint statement vowing that resistance will continue until the "complete destruction" of the conspiracies of arrogant powers, the expulsion of foreign forces from West Asia, and the liberation of al-Quds through the destruction of the Israeli regime.

"The presence of people in the streets remains the backbone of the battlefield, the stronghold of diplomacy, and an essential factor in achieving complete and final victory," the IRGC said, referring to more than 90 consecutive nights of rallies across the country to support the Iranian leadership and armed forces.

The statements were released on the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini, the father of the Islamic Revolution, and the June 5, 1963 uprising against the former Pahlavi dynasty, which began after Imam Khomeini's arrest.

The commemoration comes as Iran also mourns the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was assassinated during terrorist US-Israeli military strikes on February 28.

"The Iranian nation will not retreat in the face of threats and aggression but will continue the path of honor with unity and faith more than ever before," the IRGC added.

The IRGC also cited the martyrdom of 168 children at the Minab school as one of hundreds of crimes committed by the United States and the Israeli regime, stating that recent warmongering by Washington and Tel Aviv has exposed the true face of false human rights claimants to the world.

The Armed Forces General Staff said the American and Zionist enemies will have no choice but to surrender before the divine will of Iran's armed forces and nation.

In a separate statement, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army said the teachings of Imam Khomeini and the martyred leader serve as a beacon for the Iranian nation.

The army vowed not to neglect for a moment its efforts to defend the ideals of the revolution and to stand against any enemy seeking to harm the country.

The army noted that this year's commemorations come as the nation mourns the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, who it said spent his life safeguarding national honor and Iran's rights.

The army added that the profound bond between the political and intellectual school of Imam Khomeini and the legacy of the martyred leader would serve as a lasting treasure for the nation in facing future challenges.

The armed forces, under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, will defend the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the nation's integrity to the death, the General Staff said.

"The American and Zionist enemies will have no choice but to surrender before the divine will of the armed forces and the aware and vigilant nation," the statement added.

The army also emphasized the spirit of domination-rejection of the Iranian nation, stating that this spirit has continued as one of the pillars of the Islamic Republic's power over four decades.

It said that today, the proud nation, the courageous armed forces, and the zealous army stand against the enemies and their conspiracies under the leadership of the supreme commander.

The army affirmed its commitment to national unity, strengthening national power, and standing against the excessive demands of child-killing enemies, assuring the Iranian nation that it will protect the country's independence, security, and territorial integrity.
