The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has strongly condemned the Israeli regime's continued deadly violations targeting the Lebanese territory, while slamming sustained international indifference towards the atrocities.
In a statement on Tuesday, Esmail Baghaei denounced the regime's persisting massacre of people, medical staff, and rescue team members in Lebanon as it keeps up its bombardment of residential areas and destruction of vital infrastructure.
The instances of aggression, he added, manifest flagrant violation of the principles of the international law and human rights and serve as clear examples of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
"The international community cannot remain indifferent in the face of these atrocities," he added.
"Continued inaction on the part of the responsible international organizations vis-à-vis the Zionist regime's persistent violations of ceasefire and its crimes, which are facilitated through the United States' support and complicity, has encouraged this occupying regime to intensify its violations and crimes.
Hundreds have been killed during the regime's violations of a 2024 ceasefire deal with Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement, by signing which Tel Aviv supposedly agreed to end its deadly escalation against the country that had already claimed the lives of thousands.
Recently, Hezbollah officially announced an end to its period of self-restraint in the face of the atrocities, beginning to decisively confront the invaders and strike Israeli targets.
In his most recent address, the movement's Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem reiterated the group's unyielding stance of considering resistance to be the only applicable course of action in the face of the regime in light of Tel Aviv's unchanging aggressive attitude towards Lebanon.
