Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed appreciation on the part of the Islamic Republic towards Pakistan over its support amid the unprovoked American-Israeli aggression.
In an Urdu-language post on X on Monday, the top diplomat voiced Tehran’s “cordial appreciation” towards the Pakistani government and nation for the “solidarity and complete support” they have offered to their Iranian counterparts.
“With complete trust in Almighty God, the Islamic Republic remains steadfast in defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Araghchi concluded.
The comments came amid the aggression that Washington and Tel Aviv began imposing on the Iranian nation late last month.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has been responding by staging at least 55 waves of decisive and triumphant retaliatory strikes against sensitive and highly strategic American and Zionist targets throughout the West Asia region.
The reprisal, codenamed Operation True Promise 4, began shortly after the launch of the atrocities.
It has witnessed the IRGC fire hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles as well as attack drones towards the targets lying in such locations as the city of Tel Aviv, the holy occupied city of al-Quds, the occupied port of Haifa, Be’er Sheva, the Zionist regime’s technology epicenter, and the Negev Desert.
The retaliation has also struck American outposts in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia among other places.
