Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, during his latest visit to the occupied territories. He has expressed solidarity with Israel in the aftermath of the al-Aqsa Flood operation launched by Palestinians in October 2023. Modi’s visit has triggered political reactions in Pakistan.

Analysts believe India-Israel cooperation has become deeper, citing Israel’s assistance to India in the face of a Pakistani military operation during the 2025 conflict between Islamabad and New Delhi.

Back in Islamabad, Pakistan’s Senate has strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks about a so-called “hexagon of alliances” to ally with India and other countries to counter Muslim nations. The upper house passed a resolution deploring what it called provocative narratives that threaten unity and undermine efforts at justice for Palestinians.
