Palestinian medic Hatem Rayan has died in an Israeli prison. His death was confirmed on Thursday, more than a year after he was abducted while on duty in Gaza.
Rayan’s death adds to a growing list of healthcare professionals who entered Israeli custody alive, but never returned.
