Hezbollah has lauded the Islamic Republic of Iran as a beacon of resistance, saying its continued progress serves as definitive proof that decades of “hostile conspiratorial policies” led by the United States and Israel have failed.

In a statement marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, the Lebanese resistance movement said the Revolution was a “model for freedom” that has grown more influential despite nearly half a century of international pressure and economic encirclement.

The statement framed the current tensions in West Asia as a clash between "international tyranny" and a "civilizational awakening."

Hezbollah said the recent escalation of rhetoric from Washington and the "Zionist entity" is a direct response to Iran’s growing capabilities.

"The beating of the drums of aggressive war... is nothing but tangible evidence of how greatly the forces of tyranny sense the growing effectiveness of the Islamic Republic," the statement read, pointing to frequent US-Israeli threats against Iran in recent months.

Hezbollah said the "collusion" of Western powers to isolate Tehran has inadvertently highlighted Iran's status as the sole "actual equivalent counterweight" to the Western-led aggressive camp.

'Model for humanity'

The statement contrasted what it termed "tyrannical thuggery" – power not based on legitimate right – with the "legitimate right supported by power" represented by Iran.

Hezbollah praised Tehran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and its condemnation of the genocide in Gaza, as well as its role in supporting Lebanese efforts to "liberate land and protect security."

Hezbollah expressed “pride and appreciation” for the Iranian leadership and people. The unity of the Iranian public, the Lebanese resistance movement said, remains the primary obstacle to foreign intervention.

“Victory is only from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise,” the statement concluded, echoing Hezbollah’s religious and ideological foundations.

‘Revolution stands tall in face of challenges’

Separately, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, congratulated the Iranian leadership on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

In two congratulatory messages addressed to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and to President Masoud Pezeshkian, Nakhalah said, “Iran presents the best example of Islam and its lofty values, despite difficult circumstances.”

“Iran, through its blessed Revolution, continues to stand tall, capable, and dignified in the face of challenges.”

Nakhalah said, “The presidency of the Islamic Republic today stands firmly in managing the most complex phases Iran has experienced.”

The Palestinian figure also said the Islamic Republic “raised the banner of Islam and freedom in the face of international tyranny seeking to dominate peoples and their resources, and it has never hesitated to support and back the resistance of the brave Palestinian people.”
