Trump: Abduction as policy

On January 3rd, the United States crossed a line it has spent decades pretending does not exist. In the early hours of the morning, US forces struck Venezuelan infrastructure from the air.

Within hours, a small American military unit landed in Caracas. By nightfall, Venezuela's elected president, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife had been abducted and flown out of the country. Washington called it a "law enforcement action."
