Man convicted of operating for Mossad was executed in Iran on Wednesday.

A key Mossad operative in Iran, who had transferred sensitive information to the Israelis, was executed after being convicted of espionage on behalf of the terrorist Mossad service, according to the Judiciary.

Iran’s Judiciary announced that Ali Ardestani was executed at dawn on Wednesday after being convicted of espionage and collaboration with the Israeli spy agency.

According to court documents, Ardestani was recruited online by Mossad and, lured with payments and false promises, carried out assignments for the Israeli spy agency.

Judicial documents and the defendant’s explicit confessions indicate that, on the orders of Mossad officers, Ardestani took photographs and images of specific locations and provided information about targeted individuals to the service.

According to the case contents, the convict not only maintained virtual contact with Mossad officers but also communicated with agents linked to the regime inside the country. He was paid in cryptocurrency after completing each mission.

Mossad officers arranged meetings for him with a contact inside Iran, where he handed over information, photos, and videos before receiving new assignments, according to the Judiciary.

Ardastani was arrested after being identified in the midst of carrying out a mission for the Israeli regime.

Man convicted of spying for Israel’s Mossad executed in Iran

A Mossad agent, convicted of espionage for the Israeli regime, was executed in Iran after completion of all legal procedures, according to the Judiciary.

During investigations and interrogation stages, he stated that his motive for betraying the country was the prospect of receiving a multi-million-dollar reward and a visa for the United Kingdom.

At various stages of the judicial process, he acknowledged that he had been fully aware he was in contact with Mossad officers and was knowingly providing valuable information to an enemy.

During court sessions, he explicitly accepted the charges and detailed the nature of his cooperation with the Mossad spy service.

Considering the investigations, case evidence, reports by security authorities, and the defendant’s explicit confessions regarding espionage and harmful actions in favor of Israel, the court sentenced him to death.

After the sentence was issued, the case was referred to the Supreme Court, where judges ruled that the verdict complied with legal standards and due process, rejected the defendant’s appeal, and upheld the ruling.
