Nearly two thousand Palestinian abductees were released from Israeli jails and arrived in Khan Yunis on Monday. The development was followed with emotional reunions for several hours between the freed abductees and their surviving family members.

However, while those scenes offered a rare glimpse of hope, an international summit was held in Egypt on the future for Gazans, who are still struggling to shake off the dust of Israel's genocide.
