US-Israel Gaza genocide

Dozens of Palestinians have been killed in fresh Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip since morning on Friday. The new bombardments include an attack on a tent in Gaza City. At least 20 Palestinians, including seven children, have been killed in Gaza City since dawn. Elsewhere in the blockaded strip, an Israeli attack on a vehicle in Deir al-Balah took the lives of at least four people. The relentless strikes come amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions. According the UNICEF, the situation of children in Gaza City is unthinkable. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide has surpassed 64,200, with more than 161,500 others injured.

Russia-Ukraine war

President Vladimir Putin warns that Russian forces will target any Western troops deployed to Ukraine. Putin was speaking a day after a coalition of over two dozen countries, led by France and Britain, announced that they are prepared to provide post-war military backing to Ukraine. The president of the European Commission had also said that European capitals are working on plans for a multi-national troop deployment to Ukraine. The Russian foreign ministry on Thursday underlined that any deployment of Western forces will not secure peace, and will instead lead to heightened tensions and further conflict.

Urging accountability of aggressors

Tehran has urged the international community to hold the US and Israel accountable for their attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities in June. Iravani made the remarks while addressing the UN General Assembly. He also stressed that immunity for nuclear facilities should become an inviolable norm. On June 13th, Israel assassinated a number of Iranian military commanders and then launched attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear sites. The U-S subsequently joined Israel in the war that lasted 12 days.
