Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Peyman Jebelli says the state broadcaster's building that was attacked by the Israeli regime last month is a symbol of the Iranian nation’s resistance and will be fully rebuilt.
Jebelli made the remarks to Press TV on Sunday as he hosted foreign ambassadors on a tour of the central building, which was hit by 11 missiles on June 16 in blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
Jebelli emphasized that the “savage attack” had not shaken the courage or convictions of the Iranian people, saying the spirit of resistance remains strong.
He said he wished representatives of governments that supported Israel during its war of aggression against Iran were present during the tour so that they would witness firsthand the truth behind Israeli atrocities.
“They have turned a blind eye to reality,” he said. “The truth will always come out.”
